Well done to everyone involved in our ESFA Cup second round win at Trafford on Saturday. On a small pitch against useful opposition it was always going to be a tricky tie but our football shone through again and we are now in the hat for round 3.
The draw for the third round will take place on Monday 14th November at 1pm. Some ‘big names’ remain in the hat, including Liverpool, Preston and Tameside from the North West and Leeds and Sheffield from Yorkshire. Further south we have West Cornwall, Nottingham and Caerphilly but the ESFA tend to pair teams within 50 miles of each other at this stage of proceedings.
Training will take place this week on Tuesday at 4.15pm on the Canon Slade astro turf.
