If you cannot play please contact Mr Harrison-Scott as soon as possible (khs@canon-slade.bolton.sch.uk).

All players should report to the venue for 9.40am at the latest in full school uniform or a shirt and tie with smart trousers.

Mr Harrison-Scott would like to stress that those players not selected this time are still very much in his future plans.

As mentioned earlier in the week there was always a chance that a league fixture would be rearranged for this Saturday. That prophecy has come true with a visit Salford now provisionally arranged.

This game will be played on a grass pitch at Broughton. It is always a great venue to visit and spectators can purchase hot food and drinks from a club house steeped in schools’ football history. Ryan Giggs is one of many former Manchester United players who plied his trade there for Salford S.F.A. before turning professional.

So far this season there have been mixed fortunes for the Salford U14 side. After a patchy start their results have improved so we should be in for a cracking game. We will be hoping to get back to winning ways after suffering our first defeat at the hands of Tameside last time out, but first and foremost this is another match that everyone should enjoy.

Mr Harrison-Scott will be in touch with you soon regarding squad selection and we will post a list of those players involved on this page in due course. If you know that you are unable to play this weekend please do let Mr Harrison-Scott know.

Best wishes

Mr Jackson
