Thanks to all who attended trials for the Bolton S.F.A Under 15 squad on Thursday 21st July at Canon Slade School.
Our new manager Mr Watson was very pleased with the standard of football played and with the conduct and attitude of the players in attendance. Mr Watson now has the difficult task of selecting a squad but he has the long summer break to think about it.
Mr Watson’s squad selection will be available to view here first in the first week of term (w/b 5th September). Schools will be informed of his decision immediately after it has been posted on this page.
It is important to recognise that our U15 Bolton SFA side play matches regularly on Saturday mornings throughout the season. If you attended the trials and know that you won’t be able to play in the majority of our fixtures (and have not already informed me) please let me know by sending an email to aej@canon-slade.bolton.sch.uk
The fixture list for the 2016/17 GMCSFA season has already been drawn up. The games in the run up to Christmas for our U15 side are as follows:

8th October: Free Week
15th October: v Macclesfield (away)
22nd October: half term
29th October: half term (possible ESFA Round 2)
5th November: v Tameside (home)
12th November: ESFA Round 3 (or free week if we are already out)
19th November: Free Week
26th November: v Salford (away) – Greater Manchester Schools County Cup Round One
The remaining Saturdays in the run up to Christmas will be used to play games that may have been postponed earlier in the season.
